What types of organizations will The Luke Garrison Foundation support, and how are recipients determined?

  • The Foundation provides support via grants to US based 501(c)3 organizations. Luke had many passions in life, including education, the outdoors, his faith, and his community. The Foundation’s mission is to provide access and encouragement for people and organizations to pursue or advance their passions.

  • The Foundation’s governance include a Board of Advisors comprised of Luke’s close friends and family. These members help guide the foundation’s annual giving towards organizations Luke was either involved with or would support were he alive today.

How are grant requests submitted to The Luke Garrison Foundation?  

  • Any individual or organization that fits our purpose and mission statement may apply for a grant. We will work through a qualified organization to award an individual grant. At this time, we award grants up to $5,000.

  • Apply for a grant by downloading and emailing the grant request form to lukegarrisonfoundation@gmail.com.

Is The Luke Garrison Foundation a 501(c)(3)?

Yes, so all gifts to our Foundation are tax deductible.  

When does the foundation make grants?

Grants will be made at the end of the calendar year, after the annual meeting of the Foundation, which occurs in September. 

What's the deadline to submit a grant application?

Applications must be submitted by July 31 each year to be considered in the Foundation’s annual meeting in September.

When can we expect to hear back after applications are considered?

We’ll notify grant applicants about the status of their request by the end of October.

How do I contribute to the foundation?
